Does it ever work though? Spoiler alert: it doesn't. You are back to "starting again Monday" by Friday night. Gratitude is THE flex, and when it comes to manifesting, it NEEDS to happen.  Yes, NEEDS in caps.  How can we call in more if we are not grateful for what we currently have? Which is where we tend to get stuck.  It can feel hard to feel gratitude towards a body, a situation, a home, a ANYTHING that we wish to change.  But it doesn't have to be.  Acknowledging where we are, and the disconnect between that space and the space we wish to be is how we can get to where we wish to go!  Gratitude for our current situation will allow us to elevate out of it or call in more of what we wish to have.  Sounds meta - but it's not.  Give me 20 minutes and I will talk you through it.

Diets do not work.  We know this.  Yet, we run back to them again and again - each time forgetting how they harmed us.  But what other choice do we have? If we want to lose weight a diet is the only solution, right? Wrong. And does wanting to lose weight mean we must also be unhappy in our body until we reach that goal? Wrong again. Highest self is a concept that has become my North Star. It is the light that helps illuminate my path, and exposes all my bullshit. Aiming to embody my highest self has allowed me to self reflect, to shed things that no longer serve me, (or never did in the first place!) and helped me lean into behaviors that allow me to thrive.
