Description: In a shocking and heartbreaking case that raises serious questions about prison policies, 62-year-old Stephanie Dowells, an accomplished businesswoman, mother, and woman of faith, was strangled to death during an unsupervised conjugal visit at Mule Creek State Prison in California. Her husband? David Brinson, a man serving four consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole for the cold-blooded execution of four men in a 1990 robbery. Despite his violent history and lifelong sentence, Brinson was somehow granted access to extended, private visitation privileges. Stephanie believed she was helping redeem a lost soul. Instead, she lost her life. This episode dives into how this tragic story unfolded, why California鈥檚 conjugal visit policies allowed it to happen, and the heartbreaking questions her family is left asking. Was this a failure of the system? Should violent offenders be granted unsupervised visits? Could Stephanie鈥檚 death have been prevented?聽#TrueCrime #PrisonMarriage #StephanieDowells #DavidBrinson #JusticeForStephanie #ConjugalVisit #PrisonPolicy #MuleCreekStatePrison #CaliforniaDOC #PrisonHomicide #FaithAndRedemption #WomenWhoLoveKillers #Hybristophilia #VictimAdvocacy #LifeWithoutParole #PrisonReform #SystemFailure #JusticeSystem #CriminalJusticeReform #CrimeDocumentary #TrueCrimeCommunity #JusticeDenied #Strangled #DomesticViolence #PsychopathsInPrison #SaveTheNextOne #TragicLove #PrisonWives #NoOneIsSafe #TrueCrimeAddict #YouCantMakeThisUp #RedFlagsIgnored #ConjugalVisitTragedy=======================================Order a copy of Deceived or She Knew No Fear and get the book signed for free! https://www.ProfilingEvil.comDONATE to Profiling Evil: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=T54JX76RZ455SSUPPORT our Podcasts: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1213394/support馃暤锔廕OIN THE PE ACADEMY: https://www.youtube.com/profilingevil/join馃摉 You can now get our new book Deceived on AMAZON: https://amzn.to/3eI8byo馃帣 Profiling Evil Podcast: https://profilingevilpodcast.buzzsprout.com馃帣 Mapping Evil Podcast: https://mappingevil.com馃摡 Profiling Evil B.O.L.O.
