Will Rex Heuermann Admit to Being Long Island Serial Killer? | Profiling Evil 聽
Podcast: Profiling EvilPublished On: Tue Mar 31 2026
Description: The Long Island Serial Killer case may be heading for one of its biggest turning points yet. Multiple outlets are now reporting that Rex Heuermann, the New York architect charged in seven murders tied to the Gilgo Beach investigation, is expected to plead guilty in April of 2026. That plea has not yet been entered in court, and a judge would still have to accept it, but family members have reportedly been notified, and the guilty plea would make his September trial unnecessary. In this episode, we鈥檒l sit down with veteran filmmaker Josh Zeman, the award-winning creator of The Killing Season, to talk about what this means. We鈥檒l revisit the case, something we explored years earlier and examine the evidence prosecutors say tied Heuermann to the murders. Will this plea end in truth or just be an easy way out for Heuermann, sparing his family (and frankly the victim鈥檚 families) of hearing the truth about this serial killer case? #RexHeuermann #LongIslandSerialKiller #LISK #GilgoBeach #OceanParkway #MassapequaPark #TrueCrime #ProfilingEvil #JoshZeman #TheKillingSeason #MonsterPodcast #CriminalBehavior #BehavioralAnalysis #Forensics #DNA #ColdCase #MurderInvestigation #GeographicProfiling #Justice #Victims #MelissaBarthelemy #MeganWaterman #AmberCostello #MaureenBrainardBarnes #JessicaTaylor #SandraCostilla #ValerieMack #GilgoFour========================================CrimeCon Discount Code: https://crimecon.regfox.com/cctw3ntys1x (In Voucher/Coupon area, enter: PROFILINGEVIL========================================https://gamutpodcasts.com/show/gardensofevilinsidethezionsocietycult/========================================20% OFF Newspapers.comhttps://www.newspapers.com/go/podcast/?ref=profilingevil?xid=8877&utm_source=ProfilingEvilPodcast&utm_medium=podcst&utm_campaign=ProfilingEvil26========================================Email your questions to: ProfilingEvil@gmail.com========================================馃挸 DONATE: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=T54JX76RZ455S馃挼 PayPal: https://paypal.me/profilingevil馃暤锔廈ECOME A MEMBER: https://www.youtube.com/profilingevil/join馃洅SHOP MERCH: https://www.profilingevil.com/profilingevilshop馃摉SHOP BOOKS: https://www.profilingevil.com/storeSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
