Once inside, participants are subjected to a grueling, hours-long experience that includes simulated drowning, extreme temperatures, and physical and psychological torture. The attraction has garnered significant criticism, with some describing it as a form of torture and exploitation. The owner, Russ McKamey, has defended the experience as a form of "survival horror" that pushes participants to their limits, claiming that no one has completed the experience to this day. However, many former participants have spoken out against the attraction, describing their experiences as traumatic and violating. Some have accused McKamey of manipulating and gaslighting participants and have criticized the attraction's lack of transparency and oversight.
