Description: Tomorrow marks ten years since the death of Kalief Browder, who as a teenager was held for three years on Riker's Island, including in solitary confinement, without being convicted of a crime. A new documentary premiering at the Tribeca Festival follows the movement to seek justice following Browder's death. The film also commemorates Browder's mother, Venida, who died not long after Kalief, through her poetry. Director Sisa Bueno discusses "For Venida, For Kalief," which premieres tomorrow.
