WITS Smut Scale: 🐙Elle may be getting over bronchitis, but that didn't stop us from having an incredibly candid conversation about this book. Both Elle and Kay think that there was a missed opportunity by keeping with the biology of an actual frog (fact checked in real time). Kay is a bit triggered at the beginning of the book, and shares her fear of being dive-bombed by a bird of prey when she wears her winter hat with the big pompom. Elle has a brief understanding of the other side of the aisle... "everyone's liberal until a 7 ft frog..." We talk about the power of gratitude, and Elle gives her rendition of Smelly Cat.
