This week's book has us discussing unsafe first date behavior (hello, meeting in secret at midnight is never going to be a good idea) which ultimately gives us a morally grey meet cute. We were pleased to discover that we've got a monster peen on an otherwise mostly human (with a pumpkin head) MMC, and Kay is on board with the full sensory experience. Also, yet another standard 6'4" romantic lead, which Kay is here for. For a halloween themed monster romance, we were pleasantly surprised with the cozy feel and HEA.
