What drove Marjorie Taylor Greene to publicly break with Trump after years of unwavering loyalty? On this episode of The Tara Palmeri Show, Canadian political commentator Dean Blundell joins Tara Palmeri to unpack Pete Hegseth's failed "press pledge"—rebuffed by Fox News and others—sparking Pentagon leaks. They zero in on MTG's heel turn against Trump: blasting deportations hitting her construction firm, fuming over snubbed GOP roles and a blocked Georgia Senate run. Palmeri's Mar-a-Lago encounter and sources reveal her grievance-fueled split from the boys' club—read the full exclusive reporting here: https://www.tarapalmeri.com/p/hell-hath-no-fury-marjorie-taylor. The duo covers No Kings protests clashing with Trump's parades, ICE raid trauma amid global rallies, and free speech fears. On Epstein files, can MTG force votes past MAGA Mike—or face Trump's veto and DOJ redactions? Leaks hold the truth, as explored in The Red Letter on Substack. What happens when young Republican leaders' leaked Telegram chats reveal racist Hitler jokes and VP JD Vance dodges condemnation? On this riveting episode of the Tara Palmeri Show, on day 15 of the government shutdown, Politico exposes 2,900 pages of vile young GOP Telegram chats—racist, anti-Semitic, sexist trash like gas chamber jokes and N-word slurs—while plotting Trump's endorsement. JD Vance deflects instead of condemning, as Marjorie Taylor Greene rebels in ways unpacked in my Red Letter exclusive on her fury against the GOP— https://www.tarapalmeri.com/p/hell-hath-no-fury-marjorie-taylor. Betches co-founder Sami Sage joins to unpack Vance's dodge, shutdown fallout (federal firings, military families at food banks, NYC subway grants cut), Pete Hegseth's Pentagon press paranoia, and Marjorie Taylor Greene's rebellion—blasting deportations, demanding Obamacare subsidies, calling GOP men weak for sidelining women. Grudge or 2028 MAGA play? Why won't Republicans condemn their own toxic chats—what's the real strategy? Drop your take below. Trump Wants a Nobel Peace Prize for Israel’s Ceasefire — Does He Deserve It? After two years of conflict, Hamas releases hostages and a fragile ceasefire takes hold in the Middle East, with President Trump claiming victory and eyeing the Nobel Peace Prize despite only partial implementation of his 20-point plan. On this episode of The Tara Palmeri Show, I break down my appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, where heated debates erupted over Trump's role, the Abraham Accords' legacy, Netanyahu's tactics, and the devastation in Gaza—including blockades, civilian casualties, and restricted access for journalists. Panelists Destiny, Brandon Tatum, Nerdeen Kiswani, and Emily Austin clashed on everything from war crimes and Hamas embedding in civilian areas to ethnic cleansing claims, Trump's domestic policies like ICE raids, and whether this deal brings lasting peace or just sets up future violence. Piers praised my even-handed take amid the chaos, and we explored biases in media, the need for accountability on all sides, and why algorithms trap us in echo chambers—instead of real dialogue. What overlooked factor in Trump's Middle East push could make or break lasting peace, and how should critics respond if it holds? For more of her reporting, subscribe to her weekly newsletter, "The Red Letter." https://tarapalmeri.substack.com/https://www.tarapalmeri.com/subscribe Tara Palmeri is one of the most feared and fearless reporters covering power and politics. Gaza ceasefire day brings a historic hostage return—and tough questions about what changes next. Sally Lockwood (Dubai) and Tara Palmeri (New York) debrief with Israeli military analyst Amos Harel on Israel’s mood, Netanyahu’s coalition pressures, and how U.S. leverage and Qatar mediation pushed the deal through. We look at the contrast between Israeli homecomings and Palestinian prisoner releases amid Gaza’s devastation, whether Trump can keep Netanyahu from resuming fighting, and what a “war is over” claim really means. Amos explains the concessions, why far-right partners didn’t bolt, and the risks if Hamas won’t disarm. Plus: what happens to the remaining bodies, and whether broader normalization or a final agreement is realistic. Clear, candid analysis from voices on the ground. State of the World is a weekly program on the news around the World hosted by Sally Lockwood in Dubai and Tara Palmeri in Washington and New York. Sally Lockwood - a seasoned journalist with years of experience as a news anchor and correspondent in the field. She has covered some of the most pivotal moments in recent history, including multiple deployments to report on the war in Ukraine, the chaotic evacuation of Afghanistan (where her interview with the Taliban went viral), the tumultuous US election where she reported live from Capitol Hill on January 6th, and the early days of the pandemic in Italy (RTS award-winning coverage). Why is MAGA’s own star, Marjorie Taylor Greene, turning on her party during a government shutdown crisis? On this episode of The Tara Palmeri Show, Tara joins Abby Phillip on CNN to unpack the growing Republican rift as Speaker Mike Johnson faces heat from Americans—like a military spouse fearing for her children’s medication—over a shutdown threatening health care access and livelihoods. Tara dives into MTG’s stunning rebuke of GOP leadership, blaming them for fumbling control of Congress and the White House, especially as Obamacare subsidy expirations loom, hitting red states like Georgia and Texas hard with premium hikes and coverage losses. Tara spars with Scott Jennings, who defends Johnson’s outreach to voters and calls out Democratic posturing, but Tara counters by focusing on the real families hurt by the GOP’s missteps. She also notes Katie Porter’s California campaign unraveling after viral clips show her lashing out at staff and reporters. How will MTG’s defiance reshape the GOP’s future in this shutdown fight? Could Trump’s shutdown be the key to keeping the Epstein files sealed? On this episode of the Tara Palmeri Show, explore the intensifying Epstein scandal as Commerce Secretary nominee Howard Lutnick brands the financier the greatest blackmailer ever, recounting a 2005 encounter at Epstein's Manhattan townhouse where a massage table setup raised alarms and prompted him to cut ties immediately. Contrasting DOJ and FBI findings deny credible evidence of blackmail or a client list, yet bipartisan calls mount for Lutnick to testify amid fresh estate documents revealing tentative 2014 island plans with Elon Musk, a 2017 lunch with Peter Thiel, and a 2019 breakfast with Steve Bannon, alongside logs of flights with Prince Andrew and massages for Bill Gates. As Trump's government shutdown stalls federal probes and document releases, Tara breaks it down on Nicolle Wallace's Deadline: White House with MSNBC analyst Tim Miller, unpacking the political pressure, societal failures in protecting vulnerable girls, and why powerful figures ignored red flags like daily "massages" that victims describe as assaults. What role do you think figures like Bannon, Musk, and Thiel played in Epstein's orbit after his conviction? What explosive secrets in the Epstein files could unravel Trump’s grip on power as the House vote to release them looms? In this gripping episode of The Tara Palmeri Show, Tara Palmeri joins Nicolle Wallace on Deadline: White House on MSNBC, diving deep into the Jeffrey Epstein scandal’s escalating firestorm. Arizona Democrat Adelita Grijalva’s special election victory delivers the 218th signature on Rep. Thomas Massie’s discharge petition, forcing a House vote to unseal the files. Tara explores the high-stakes path ahead—fierce Senate pushback, Trump’s potential vulnerability amid whispers of a lewd note to Epstein, and Jimmy Kimmel’s biting late-night jab, mocking Trump’s threats against late-night hosts while tying it to his "hoax" narrative to downplay the Epstein story. She also unpacks the National Mall uproar, where a provocative 12-foot statue of Trump and Epstein holding hands, titled "Best Friends Forever," was torn down by authorities this morning amid public outrage. House Speaker Mike Johnson and the White House are leaning hard on GOP signers to abandon the petition, while Senate Republicans like John Thune stonewall Democratic amendments, all as Trump brushes it off as a "Democrat hoax" to dodge potential fallout. Tune in for Tara’s fearless take on how Epstein’s shadow could unravel Washington’s power elite in 2025.
