Hoagland and attorney Peter Gersten revealing that their organization FACETS wrote to NASA requesting high-resolution imagery of the Cydonia region on Mars. NASA responded with a three-page letter from Associate Administrator Ed Weiler stating that stereo images at 1.5 meters per pixel had been acquired and posted online.
