The Browns Are Thin Everywhere Except at One Spot: Rookie Playmakers
Podcast: The Ken Carman Show with Anthony Lima

Description: Ken Carman and Anthony Lima assess the Browns' talent gaps after the Chicago preseason game, agreeing it's worth the injury risk to use KC Concepcion on kick returns given how badly the offense needs a spark, and praising Spencer Fano's debut while cautioning he's only one-fifth of a still-shaky offensive line. They flag thin depth at tight end and in the secondary as real concerns heading into the season, while pushing back on fantasy football fans worried Harold Fannin was quiet in game one, arguing he'll become Deshaun Watson's security blanket once the season starts. Ken ties the roster's overall thinness back to the draft capital lost in the Watson trade, but says he can accept a rough win total if young playmakers like Concepcion and Denzel Boston keep flashing, and teases finding out whether Daryl Ruiter is also ready to call the QB competition for Watson.
