Mike Florio Says Fan Reaction SHOULD Factor Into the Browns' QB Decision
Podcast: The Ken Carman Show with Anthony LimaPublished On: Thu Sep 03 2026
Description: Ken and Anthony dig into Mike Florio's surprising take that Todd Monken should've weighed Browns fans' hatred for Deshaun Watson when deciding on a starter, and explain why they think Monken actually did consider it by opening up a real competition instead of just handing Watson the job. The guys break down what that QB competition really signals about the state of the quarterback room, and admit they don't expect much from Watson even with a fresh start. Plus, a Fan 15th anniversary aside turns into some good-natured family ribbing about Ken's lifelong devotion to Dale Earnhardt.
