Is Todd Monken About To Walk Back His Tough Talk On Deshaun Watson?
Podcast: The Ken Carman Show with Anthony Lima
Published On: Mon Aug 24 2026
Description: Ken Carman and Anthony Lima dig into Todd Monken's postgame comments and wonder if his "full body of work" language is a sign he's already softening on benching Deshaun Watson after Saturday's meltdown. A caller pushes back that some of the boos still trace to Watson's off-field history, but Carman and Lima counter that five years of losing football, not old allegations, is what turned fans on him. The two also compare the fan reaction to Nick Chubb's beloved status in Cleveland, arguing winning, not just being a good guy, is what earns the city's love.
