Did Harold Fannin Just Confirm Deshaun Watson Is Starting?
Podcast: The Ken Carman Show with Anthony LimaPublished On: Wed Aug 19 2026
Description: Ken Carman and Anthony Lima bring in producer John to dig into whether Browns tight end Harold Fannin accidentally tipped the quarterback competition, referencing quarterback control in Todd Monken's offense in a way that could point to Deshaun Watson getting the nod. They break down the edited versus unedited clips to check if anything was misleading, then debate whether Fannin's comments about audible freedom actually signal anything about who wins the job. The two also weigh whether the quarterback battle even matters much longer given how often Shedeur Sanders is still expected to play this season.
