Daryl Ruiter Scoffs at Deshaun Watson's Comeback Player of the Year Buzz
Podcast: The Ken Carman Show with Anthony LimaPublished On: Fri Sep 04 2026
Description: Daryl Ruiter joins Ken and Anthony to react to a former GM picking Deshaun Watson for Comeback Player of the Year, pushing back that Watson has barely been available to play and calling the pick premature. He shares what he's actually seen in camp, framing the QB competition as Watson being "more ready to play" rather than definitively better and predicting the job eventually shifts to Shedeur Sanders. Ruiter also weighs in on the Browns defense taking a step back without Myles Garrett and Jim Schwartz, Denzel Ward's puzzling top 100 snub
