About Last Night: MLB Proposed a Shortened Schedule & Jalon Daniels Victory
Podcast: The Ken Carman Show with Anthony LimaPublished On: Fri Oct 09 2026
Description: Ken and Lima like MLB's proposal to shrink the schedule to 154 games and let the top seeds pick their opponents in the first two rounds, arguing the drama and rivalries are worth the gimmick. They also react to the Buccaneers beating the Cowboys with undrafted rookie Jalen Daniels for their first win without Baker Mayfield. They close on the Cavs' preseason opener, where Peyton Watson's spot-up shooting and rim protection give them hope he can help in a run at the Knicks in the East.
