Published On: Tue Sep 08 2026
Description: Ken Carman and Anthony Lima react to Todd Monken's comments about Deshaun Watson's headspace, with Carman admitting Watson looked "unrecognizable" and mentally beaten down compared to his pre-Cleveland peak, drawing a comparison to LeBron James struggling under villain status with the Heat. They debate whether Watson starting has quieted the usual preseason hype cycle among Browns fans, with Carman noting his friends are far more excited for Ohio State-Texas than for Jacksonville. The conversation turns to whether fans can ever move past Watson's comments about being booed during his injury, with Lima pointing out he never actually apologized.
