Should Teams Be Banned From Drafting a Top 10 QB Again for 3 Years?
Podcast: The Ken Carman Show with Anthony LimaPublished On: Tue Sep 29 2026
Description: Ken and Lima pick up where Zac Jackson left off, saying Deshaun Watson's odds of sticking around are slim but the Browns are winning, then look at the league-wide quarterback crisis, with injuries, bad play, and teams like Tennessee heading toward another QB pick. Ken pitches a rule that any team drafting a quarterback in the top 10 can't take another one there for three years, and Lima pushes back that it would just get GMs and coaches fired. They argue that Watson's fourth-quarter surge and better analytics than Bo Nix, Justin Herbert, and Cam Ward could help him, since few teams truly love their quarterback.
