Daryl Ruiter: Baker Should Win Sunday, But Watch His Emotions
Podcast: The Ken Carman Show with Anthony Lima
Published On: Fri Sep 18 2026
Description: Daryl Ruiter joins the show and predicts Tampa Bay should beat the Browns comfortably given Baker Mayfield's clear talent edge over Deshaun Watson, though he floats the same wildcard Ken and Anthony raised: if Baker lets his emotions take over trying to embarrass his old team, mistakes could open the door for Cleveland. Ruiter also puts real blame on Todd Monken, Mike Rutenberg, and the defense for their week one collapse, singles out Jared Verse for criticism given the trade capital spent to get him, and confidently predicts the Guardians will still win the AL Central.
