Jared Verse Doesn't Care About Sacks... Should Browns Fans?
Podcast: The Ken Carman Show with Anthony LimaPublished On: Fri Sep 25 2026
Description: Jared Verse's comment that sacks aren't a testament to how he plays drew heat from fans still craving a Myles Garrett-style pass rusher, but Ken and Anthony argue the new scheme and teammates deserve more patience. They debate how long that patience lasts, floating 10 sacks as a fair bar given Verse's workload is split with a deeper defensive line. A caller weighs in comparing Verse's winning mentality to Garrett's stat-focused leadership on losing teams, sparking pushback from Ken on that read of Garrett's legacy.
