Podcast: The Ken Carman Show with Anthony Lima
Published On: Tue Aug 18 2026
Description: Browns sideline reporter Aditi Kinkabwala joins Ken and Lima to break down the QB competition, framing it as a philosophical question of who gives you the best chance now versus who has the higher long term ceiling, and sharing that Deshaun Watson is in the best mental and physical space she has seen from him in years. She details how locked in Watson was on the sideline, constantly reviewing the tablet with his quarterback coach, and confirms Todd Monken's genuine excitement watching him play again. The conversation shifts to roster concerns beyond quarterback, with Aditi flagging secondary depth as the team's biggest worry and praising Jared Verse's leadership as a legitimate Roquan Smith style locker room presence, sparking a spirited debate with Ken and Lima over whether the team is underrating how much they'll miss Myles Garrett.
