Does One Good Game Buy Deshaun Watson a Hero's Welcome?
Podcast: The Ken Carman Show with Anthony LimaPublished On: Mon Sep 21 2026
Description: Ken and Lima credit Todd Monken's simplified play calling for helping Deshaun Watson look in command in the 23-19 win over Tampa Bay, while stressing the Browns are not out of the woods yet. Callers weigh in, with one saying Baker Mayfield jerseys are clown behavior and another arguing you never root against your own team, which puts Owen on the spot over his past Watson takes. The hosts admit they were wrong about how the game would go, and Ken makes clear one win doesn't change how he felt about the Watson trade.
