The Browns are NOT trading for Jameis Winston
The Browns are NOT trading for Jameis Winston
Podcast: The Ken Carman Show with Anthony Lima
Published On: Wed Aug 26 2026
Description: Lima pushes Ken on Albert Breer's idea of the Browns trading for Jameis Winston, but Ken won't budge, refusing to give up any more draft capital for a quarterback while the roster is this depleted. He runs down just how thin Cleveland is at safety, linebacker, and offensive line, and frames this season as a bridge to 2027 rather than one worth mortgaging future picks to patch. Ken also contrasts his younger, more combative self with where he's at now, saying he's resigned to "cleaning up" a mess he didn't create instead of chasing a short-term fix.
