Has Cleveland Lost Its Spine Over Two Deshaun Watson Wins?
Podcast: The Ken Carman Show with Anthony LimaPublished On: Mon Sep 28 2026
Description: Ken and Lima debate whether the quarterback job now belongs to Deshaun Watson, with Ken admitting he expected only a two-game stint before Shedeur Sanders took over and Lima saying a solid showing against Pittsburgh would shelve the Sanders talk until midseason. Caller Dave argues the city is intoxicated by a couple of wins and fears the Haslams could end up extending Watson. Ken and Lima concede he has a point but counter with EPA per play numbers that put Watson ahead of Baker Mayfield, C.J. Stroud, and Aaron Rodgers in a league full of shaky quarterback play.
