Does Deshaun Watson's Depth of Target Matter After a Win?
Podcast: The Ken Carman Show with Anthony LimaPublished On: Mon Sep 21 2026
Description: Ken and Lima defend Deshaun Watson's bare-bones, turnover-free performance, arguing that dinks and dunks and a low bar were enough against Tampa Bay's pressure, while Baker Mayfield's deep shots kept missing and the Browns' A-gap pressure paid off. They stress the offensive line still isn't fixed, and callers weigh in, including a diehard Baker fan who says he'd never wear the jersey and gets physically ill when the Browns lose, which sends the crew into a tangent about calling in sick. The segment closes with big credit for Todd Monken, minus two gripes over the fourth-and-one call and burning the last timeout.
