A Caller Tries to Gaslight Ken and Lima, and It Almost Works
A Caller Tries to Gaslight Ken and Lima, and It Almost Works
Podcast: The Ken Carman Show with Anthony Lima
Published On: Mon Aug 17 2026
Description: Ken Carman and Anthony Lima take heat from callers who aren't buying that Deshaun Watson clearly outplayed Shedeur Sanders, starting with Tyler, who points out Watson's own fumble and argues Sanders deserves credit for actually pushing the ball downfield while Watson dinked and dunked. The hosts eventually concede neither quarterback was overwhelmingly better and both made mistakes, but they land on giving Todd Monken the benefit of the doubt since he has film access they don't. A second caller, Dave from Fort Worth, argues Sanders looked worse than every rookie in the league and predicts he won't survive the arrival of a top QB prospect like Arch Manning, which spirals into the hosts roasting the entire QB room, including a rough showing from Dillon Gabriel.
