One night, James and his friend went out to a bar where they met a guy who wanted to take them to another place to drink. Once they arrived at the new location, James' friend was so weirded out by the people he saw that he bailed and left James alone with his new acquaintance, who talked James into going to yet another party out in the desert, in a place called Joshua Tree, outside of Los Angeles. James wound up spending over 24 hours at that location, and he witnessed so many out-of-this-world things. There were vampires, cloaked figures around pentagrams, flying people, and portals opening up - and it all seemed to be focused around the guest of honor, James himself. As the danger rose, James found himself running for his life through the desert to escape these people who seemed to be grooming him as a sacrifice that night.
