Podcast: Go Get 'EmPublished On: Thu May 28 2026
Description: The Yankees are back on track and gaining in the AL East after a sweep of the Royals while the Rays were swept in Baltimore. Chris McMonigle says the dynamic in the division has drastically changed in a matter of days. He also raved about Gerrit Cole's dominant performance, and how it is the best version of Cole he has seen in his Yankee tenure (7:45). Plus, Cole's return reinforces that there is no way the Yanks are trading for Tarik Skubal (15:15). Chris also sounds off on the continued complaints about the Yankee bullpen (29:30), why Anthony Volpe has earned more time as the starting shortstop (38:00), and why Austin Wells needs to be benched against lefty starters (54:50).
