Podcast: Damon Bruce Plus: 49ers, Warriors, Giants, National Headlines, Bay Area Sports TalkPublished On: Wed Sep 23 2026
Description: The 49ers just added Brandin Cooks to the receiver room and the move tells you everything about where this front office's head is right now. Cooks isn't the player he was at his peak. But he's a proven NFL receiver who runs clean routes, wins on the short and intermediate areas of the field, gives Brock Purdy a reliable third option behind Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel.
