In the clip, Ed asks Ellie if a guy nearby was her boyfriend, to which she says "no, he's a friend" - but when Ed then asks her if she's single, she panics and changes her story, claiming that the guy is her boyfriend. Spoiler alert: he was not her boyfriend, but that didn't stop the internet from deciding that she was cheating on him and then lying about their relationship to the rest of the internet.
