Podcast:The People’s Court Podcast Published On: Fri Aug 29 2025 Description: First, the plaintiffs were about to move into an apartment the defendants were renting them, and one day before they were going to bring their belongings over, the defendant called them to say that he was selling the place instead. The defendants claim they didn’t want to rent to an unmarried couple because if they broke up, one person wouldn’t be able to make the rent. Then, the plaintiff says he was the emcee at the defendant’s wedding. And after working the crowd for five plus hours, the bride asked what he was doing, then proceeded to kick him out. The defendant claims the plaintiff was a horror to deal with, sitting around doing nothing at her wedding. Plus, the plaintiff says the defendant smacked into her parked car and immediately admitted it was her fault and told her she’d pay to have it fixed the next day. The defendant claims the plaintiff was on her cell phone talking while she was pulling out of a parking spot, and the plaintiff backed into her.
