Description: The plaintiffs say they gave the defendant a deposit on a goldendoodle puppy but called her 24 hours later when they changed their minds. They tried to purchase a puppy a few months later, but the defendant refused to sell them one, so they’re suing for the deposit back, plus stress and duress. The defendant says she’s a groomer and only occasionally has puppies available. She claims the plaintiffs were nasty and disputed the charges with their credit card company and lost.  Then, the plaintiff says he gave the defendant a deposit to board up his windows because of an impending hurricane. He claims the guy  blew him off, so he’s suing for his money back. The defendant says the plaintiff kept delaying and he even turned down other work, so there’s no way he’s giving him a refund.  Plus, the plaintiff claims the defendant illegally towed her car from a parking lot and damaged the all-wheel drive in the process. She’s suing for the costs. The defendant claims the plaintiff’s kids parked in his lot and went the beach, so he towed the car. He also says one of them spat at his driver. He says he owes nothing.  Don’t forget to rate and subscribe so you never miss an episode. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information. Learn more about your ad choices.
