Instead, he put in half-dead brown sod, so she’s suing for the shoddy job, and punitive and emotional damages. The defendant says the plaintiff didn’t give the sod time to grow in, and he won’t return any money. Plus, the plaintiff says he and the defendant were close friends and former roommates. He claims his former friend owes him money for rent, damages, a bail bond, and airline tickets, so he’s suing. The defendant says the let the plaintiff live with him rent-free, so they’re square.
