Description: The plaintiff sold a puppy to the defendant, her friend’s sister. She says the defendant never paid for the dog, so she took the dog back. The defendant put up fliers around the neighborhood claiming the plaintiff stole her dog. She’s suing for the cost of the dog and defamation of character. The defendant argues the plaintiff stole her dog and keeps moving the pet around so she can’t find it. The defendant is countersuing for the cost of the dog. Then, the plaintiff was hired to do marketing for the defendant’s cookie company. He says the defendant refuses to pay him for his services, so he’s suing for two months of salary. The defendant fired him, so he doesn’t owe the plaintiff. Plus, the plaintiff brings her ex-boyfriend to court. She argues the defendant never paid rent when they lived together, stole money from her, and even took cash out of her bank account. He hasn’t paid her back, so she’s suing for rent, stolen money, and bank overdraft charges. The defendant says he never even lived with her, and the defendant is just upset because their relationship went bad. Don’t forget to rate and subscribe so you never miss an episode.
