Description: The plaintiff says she and the defendant are longtime friends. She loaned her pal some money, but she hasn’t been repaid, so she’s suing. The defendant says the money was a gift and claims the plaintiff’s son even threatened her. The plaintiff says he hired the defendant to install his 65-inch TV on the wall, but the man cracked it. He has it on video, and the defendant still refuses to pay for it. The defendant says he’s being framed, and claims the TV was nine months old. He says it was already damaged. The plaintiff says she agreed to rent an apartment from the defendant, but he couldn’t get the previous tenants to move out and it fell through. Still, the man refuses to return her deposit or cover her storage costs, so she’s suing. The defendant says he warned the plaintiff he might have trouble getting the tenants out, and he insists the deposit was non-refundable.
