Description: The plaintiff says he and the defendant have been friends for years, so he loaned her money to get an apartment, but she got arrested for beating up her boyfriend. He then loaned her bail money, but she hasn’t repaid that either. He’s suing her for all he’s owed. The defendant says she and the plaintiff dated, and the money was a gift. She insists he’s just jealous, and she’s countersuing for mental anguish. Then, the plaintiff says he’s been in business in 40 years, and he’s never had a customer as bad as the defendant. He says he was hired to replace a damaged carport and did a good job, but she still hasn’t paid him, so he’s suing. The defendant says her house was flooded and floors got ruined because the plaintiff removed gutters during a rainstorm. She insists the work was shoddy and won’t pay more. Plus, the plaintiff says he lives in a seniors residence and when he went to pick up his parking sticker, his car got towed. He’s suing the tow company.
