Description: The plaintiff says she and the defendant were close friends when he asked if he could drive her car. He ran a red light and another car hit them, and they were both injured. Now he won’t pay for the accident, so she’s suing. The defendant says the plaintiff asked him to drive and the accident was the other driver’s fault. Then, the plaintiffs say they dropped their dog off at the defendant’s animal care facility and got a call an hour later that their pet was badly injured. She was bleeding and had a hole in her paw requiring surgery, so they’re suing for the vet bill. The defendant says he’s been in business for 15 years and says the dog got a small cut that needed three stitches. Plus, the plaintiff says the defendant is his nephew. He claims he sold him a dog and was supposed to get three puppies from the litter when she gave birth, but he never got any, so he’s suing for the money he says he’s owed.
