Description: The plaintiff says the defendant was her landlord, and when she moved out, she says the defendant locked her out before she could retrieve her bedroom set. The plaintiff believes the defendant wasn’t in the right, and she’s suing him for the cost of the bedroom set as well as harassment. The defendant claims he had to have the plaintiff evicted, and she still owes back rent. Then, the plaintiff worked for the defendant when he ran a youth basketball summer camp. The plaintiff claims she provided her own money so the defendant could rent a van for the summer camp, but he hasn’t paid her back, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant says the money the plaintiff spent on the van isn’t his responsibility because she volunteered to help the kids. Plus, the plaintiff hired the defendant to install purple LED lights in her vehicle for a car show, but she claims the defendant didn’t know what he was doing and used duct tape to secure the lights in place. The plaintiff can’t show the vehicle in shows anymore and is suing for refund. The defendant alleges he doesn’t owe the plaintiff a penny because she didn’t pay him in full, and he did such a good job that she won second place in the car show.
