Description: The plaintiff says he rented an apartment from the defendant, who refused to give him a stove and fridge. Then, the plaintiffs says they wanted to buy a limo business from the defendant and paid him $1,000, but he backed out of the deal at the last moment. They claim he’s refusing to return their deposit, so they’re suing. The defendant argues the plaintiffs missed the closing date twice, and he’s countersuing for time lost. Plus, the plaintiff says he’s friends with the defendant’s mom and loaned his debit card to the defendant to help him get his car out of impound. He claims the defendant then used the card to go on a shopping spree and never repaid him, so he’s suing for the amount he’s owed.
