He’s suing for the cost of the pet’s vet bills. The defendant argues the dogs were off-leash, so she doesn’t owe. Plus, the plaintiff paid the defendant for a room for her daughter to live in. She says the defendant kicked her daughter out of the apartment, but the defendant won’t return her security deposit, so she’s suing. The defendant argues the plaintiff’s daughter was a slob who left rotting food in the room and made the whole house smell. She doesn’t think she owes because the daughter moved out early.
