Description: The future of college football is changing. This is nothing new, but what is new is the support coming from coaches about future changes to the sport. The American Football Coaches Association voted to support some seismic rule changes including a 24-team playoff, ending conference championship games, finishing the college football season by the second week in January and more. Andy Staples, Ross Dellenger and Steven Godfrey discuss the impact all of this would have and if it is good for the sport. They also revisit how we got to this point, what has to happen for this all to get approved and what the next steps in the process are. Then, Ross' Congressional Minute returns with an update on everything going on with legislation regarding college sports. A bi-partisan bill appears to have a chance to come from the Senate, but any legislation that has a chance of passing must start there. Ross explains how close that is to being a reality and the impact that would come from it.
