If our kids can’t communicate with us, we can’t understand what they are going through. Avoid the pitfalls of “not my kid!” reactions. Know your child and don’t go on the defense when someone says they are less than perfect. Encouraging our kids to embrace who they truly are- embrace the weirdness!
