Description: Auburn football is three games into the season, and some of the same concerns that appeared early are becoming much harder to ignore. The biggest question offensively is simple: What does Auburn consistently do well? Alex Golesh acknowledged after the Florida loss that Auburn couldn't find a rhythm offensively. That showed throughout the game. Auburn came out attempting to establish Byrum Brown and the passing attack, but the Tigers struggled to consistently protect the quarterback or create enough room in the running game. That's what makes the offensive line such a major concern. In previous seasons, Auburn could sometimes separate its offensive line problems. Pass protection might struggle while the Tigers still generated enough movement in the running game to survive. Right now, Auburn is having problems doing both. Brown remains capable of making plays with his arm and legs, but Auburn can't build an SEC offense around waiting for its quarterback to create something when everything else breaks down. The Tigers need consistency. They need a running game. They need their other playmakers involved. Most importantly, Auburn needs an identity. The defensive conversation isn't much more encouraging.
