Auburn football is finally back, and I think Baylor is walking into a much bigger problem than people realize. The Alex Golesh era officially begins Saturday when the Auburn Tigers face Baylor at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Auburn enters this matchup with a major talent advantage, an offense built around Byrum Brown, and a running game that could make this a very long afternoon for Baylor. My prediction? Auburn 49, Baylor 10. Yes, I’m that bullish. The biggest question is whether Baylor can stop Auburn from controlling this game on the ground. Byrum Brown gives Auburn an elite running threat at quarterback, while Jeremiah Cobb brings explosive playmaking ability out of the backfield. If Auburn gets anywhere close to 250 rushing yards, I don't see a realistic path for Baylor to win. But everybody focusing on the running game could create another problem.
