New Rogue and Jack Magnum broke through the fortified insides of an owl that had clearly learned from the deaths of its fellows, and discovered they were hundreds of feet above the ground. New Rogue tried for a diplomatic solution, but mistakenly burned through the bird with his necrotic limbs, and they all plummeted to the ground, flattening Jack Magnum. New Rogue begged for help from the gods to bring his friend back to life, but received no response.
