Description: Opening Day for the 2025 Ole Miss baseball season is just over two weeks away. Judd Utermark is certainly ready. The slugging, do-it-all Rebel started 27 of 36 games for the Rebels last season. Eleven of his 23 hits went for extra bases, including five home runs. He drove in 12.Ole Miss opened preseason practices a few weeks ago. Utermark, for his part, has continued to move around positionally — just as he did in the fall. He’s manned third, first, second and the outfield corners. All are potential starting spots for Utermark come Arizona February 14. First pitch is 3 p.m. CT. Ole Miss is one of the many marquee teams participating in the Shriners Children’s College Showdown.
