Description: “That’s where the term ‘White Fragility’ comes from. It’s a person that wants to acknowledge that racism exists, but they don’t want to endure the stress or the discomfort of talking about it...they want to walk away from it...It’s the inability to endure the same stress about racial injustice that I have been feeling my whole life.” For this episode we sat down with Paige Eff, a mother, wife, future nurse and biracial black woman who reached out to share her story of growing up in a predominantly white town. We wanted to ask her some questions about her experience with racial injustice as a black woman and through our open discussion, she educated us about white fragility. She challenged us to ask ourselves tough questions surrounding our preconceived notions and assumptions about the black community. We hope you’ll listen with an open mind and challenge yourself to answer those same questions.  WE'RE GOING ON TOUR - https://www.ladiesandtangents.com/live-show WE’RE ON CAMEO - https://www.cameo.com/ladiesandtangents WE'RE ON PATREON - patreon.com/ladiesandtangents MERCH - https://ladiesandtangents.kingsroadmerch.com/ *NEW* SUBMIT YOUR STORIES - landtstories@gmail.com FOLLOW ALONG WITH US ON SOCIAL MEDIA - @ladiesandtangents   GAZA/WEST BANK RESOURCES- https://medium.com/@scholarscoalition/for-immediate-release-u-s-4c2aecd11535 https://irusa.org/middle-east/palestine/ https://buildpalestine.com/2021/05/15/trusted-organizations-to-donate-to-palestine/ https://www.vox.com/2015/5/14/18093732/israel-palestine-misconceptions https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/52045757   Learn more about your ad choices.
