Serving with joy and abandonment during his military service, he embraced his role as the spiritual father of Pyoktong prison camp with the same virtues. In the face of awful conditions and inhumane treatment, Kapaun gave himself entirely to the service of his brothers, eventually dying as a consequence. His ultimate sacrifice teaches undying lessons of courage, selflessness, and joy. This series contains moments of extreme danger and intensity, including raised voices. Several battle scenes are portrayed, including severe injuries and deaths. Fr. Kapaun and his companions are captured and forced to march to a prison camp. They are subjected to ideological indoctrination, psychological pressure and difficult conditions in the prison camp. A character contracts dysentery. Fr. Kapaun is seriously injured by a falling rock. Fr. Kapaun undergoes delirium when an injury becomes infected. Fr.
