Description: Harvey Brownstone conducts an in-depth Interview with Music Superstar, Clay Aiken About Harvey's guest:Today’s special guest, Clay Aiken, is a highly popular and beloved superstar whom we ALL fell in love with back in 2003, in Season 2 of “American Idol”, when he finished in second place in one of the most hotly contested and nerve-wracking finales in the history of the show, attracting a staggering 40 million viewers. After that, his music career ignited like wildfire, and his debut single, “This Is The Night,” made him the first artist in history to have a first hit song debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. His first album, “Measure of a Man”, was an even more astonishing success, going triple-platinum in record time. His holiday album, “Merry Christmas With Love”, posted the biggest first-week sales by any holiday album in history, a record it still holds today. He’s gone on to release 5 more highly acclaimed albums, and he’s only the 4th artist in history, ever to have his first 3 albums debut in the Top 5 and sell over 200,000 copies in the first week. He’s had 2 TV specials and 11 sold-out concert tours, performing on the biggest and most prestigious stages in the world. And over the years, he’s proven his versatility as a performer over and over again.  In 2008, he starred on Broadway in “Spamalot”, and in 2018 he returned to Broadway with Reuben Studdard in a fabulous Christmas show.   He’s also starred in theatrical productions of “The Drowsy Chaperone”, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and “Grease”. As an actor, he’s appeared in many great TV shows including “Scrubs”, “All my Children”, “30 Rock”, “The Office”, “Law & Order: SVU” and many more.  In 2012 he was the runner-up on Season 5 of “The Celebrity Apprentice”, and 2 years ago he and Reuben Studdard competed in Season 11 of “The Masked Singer”. He also wrote a best-selling memoir entitled, “Learning to Sing: Hearing the Music in Your Life”.  He’s won a whole slew of awards and accolades, including an American Music Award, 4 Billboard Awards, a New Music Weekly Award, and an American Christian Award. And let’s not forget that, in 2005, our guest was named by TV Guide as "the most-loved reality star of all time", and that same year, he was ranked at #18 on TV Guide’s list of the top 25 teen idols of all time. And last but certainly not least, our guest is a highly respected philanthropist. For 10 years he was a UNICEF ambassador, working tirelessly to improve the lives of children around the world. He’s a passionate advocate for children with disabilities, and in 2006, President Bush appointed him to the Presidential Committee for People with Intellectual Disabilities. And in 2007, for his work with the National Inclusion Project, he received the Children's Advocacy Award from the National Center for Learning Disabilities. Two years later, he received The Family Circle Award from the Family Equality Council. For more interviews and podcasts go to: https://www.harveybrownstoneinterviews.com/For more information on Clay Aiken, go to:http://www.clayaiken.com/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKmU0MOBp9f2xkSeEQgTz-g@harveybrownstone,#harveybrownstone,@harveybrownstoneinterviews,#harveybrownstoneinterviews,#ClayAiken,@ClayAiken,#therealwilliamsadler,#callmebillsadler,@callmebillsadler,#TheShawshankRedemption,#TheGreenMile,#StephenKing,#SidneyPoitier,#AlPacino,#BiloxiBlues,#NeilSimon,#DennisHopper,#JesseStone,#TomSelleck,#Roswell,#TimRobbins,#MorganFreeman,#TomHanksAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
