Description: Fall is officially here (even in LA), and this month's solo episode is all about getting dressed for it. I'm answering your questions on everything from figuring out your proportions to finding the right skirt for your body, plus how I stay warm without feeling like a marshmallow. We start with proportions: the simple at-home test I use to understand my torso, why getting your measurements taken will change your life, and why I think we should reframe proportions as balance. From there, we get into my undying love for the skirt, inspired by Mrs. Prada's all-skirt collection at Milan Fashion Week, and how to find the one that works for you. I also share my smartest layering tricks for fall and winter, my go-to loafers and boots, why I've been ignoring trends and paying attention to styling instead, and the outfit formulas I lean on for a fall or winter cocktail party.Shop all items mentioned in the episode: https://shopmy.us/shop/collections/8453148My skirt edit on SubstackIn this episode, we get into:How to figure out your proportions, and why I think of them as balanceThe two-hands test for finding your torso lengthHow to find the right skirt for your body and personal styleHow I've been finding so many great skirts at ZaraHow to stay warm without bulk, and why fabric matters more than layering moreWhy Uniqlo Heattech has saved me every winterMy go-to fall shoes: G.H.
