Locally, protestor gathered near Fresno Riverpark where one sign stood out, uniting everyone from all sides.  California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed an executive order banning state officials and appointees from using insider information to bet on prediction markets like Polymarket and Kalshi. The order, which takes effect immediately, expands existing ethics rules to block officials from profiting, or helping family members profit, from nonpublic government information.
